Oslo Afro Arts Youth

Every year Oslo Afro Arts Festival arrange free activities for youth, children and families as part of our festival. We want to create spaces and events at Grønland in collaboration with the people living there and based on their wishes on how to use the area. Safe, welcoming events where youth, children and families together can experience art and be creative together.

Entrance to he festival is free, and the youth themselves decide who they want to have on stage and how it all should look. in 2019 the two-day festival became so popular that there were lines down the street outside Forandringshuset.
