How we perform art and culture and what function this has in society, and to the production of knowledge, is often connected to our view of the world. Even in attempts at decoloniality we have a tendency to look at art and culture, and experiences from other parts of the world through the same lens and cosmology as the Western. But when death is not final, ancestors still dance, the gods take over our bodies through holy rhythm, and
individuality is performed in a group instead of individually.
What is produced in these instances? How do non-colonial expressions view themselves and how can this contribute to a better decolonial understanding.
